About this teaching

The Gospel is received and understood through the Holy Spirit, as we explore 1 Corinthians 2 vs 1-16. We recognize that our faith should not rest on human wisdom but on God's power. This teaching emphasizes that the wisdom of God, often hidden and mysterious, is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. It is not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are ultimately coming to nothing, but a divine wisdom ordained for our glory. The scripture reminds us that what God has prepared for those who love Him is beyond human comprehension, yet these things are revealed to us through His Spirit.

We acknowledge the essential role of the Holy Spirit in understanding the Gospel, as highlighted in John 14 vs 26, where Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the Helper who will teach us all things. This understanding leads us to appreciate the personhood of the Holy Spirit, recognizing Him as an active and real presence in our lives. Joel 2 vs 28 prophesies the outpouring of the Spirit on all flesh, underscoring the universality and inclusiveness of God's plan through the Holy Spirit. We must deepen our relationship with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide us into all truth and reveal the deep things of God to us.
