The Body of Christ
About this teaching
In this video we explore the profound depiction of the "Body of Christ" as articulated in 1 Corinthians 12:12-26. The passage underlines the unity of the body, made up of diverse parts, each with its unique role and value.
Reflecting on these principles, we delve into how denominations, sects, and factions can emerge, drawing parallels with the body parts saying, "I do not need you." These divisions are often manifestations of the works of the flesh that introduce discord into the harmonious unity of the body.
We find that placing "Christ at the Center" with a desire to press-in to deeper levels of communion and relationship with God through devoted prayers and the study of God's Word is a regulating force that brings balance, understanding, and unity among believers to come into the fulness of God in Christ Jesus.
