Reflections on Godliness
About this teaching
We are reminded of a time when God walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, a symbol of the close fellowship He intended to share with us. This intimacy, however, was disrupted by humanity's disobedience, leading to a separation that has defined our existence ever since. Yet, the narrative of Genesis also hints at God's relentless pursuit to restore this broken relationship, a theme that unfolds throughout the entirety of Scripture.
We conclude by drawing our attention to the overarching narrative of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, as a story of God's efforts to reconcile with humanity. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, God made a way for us to be restored to the intimacy, goodness, and eternal life that were part of His original design. This message invites us to embrace the hope of redemption and to live in a way that reflects our restored relationship with God, striving to fulfill His original plan for us to live in close fellowship with Him, now and forever.
